Environmental Protection Industry

The industrial VOCs waste gas treatment industry is an environmental protection industry that has emerged in response to the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) waste gas generated in the industrial production process. VOCs are one of the important precursors for the formation of ozone (OZ1) and fine particulate matter (PM2.5). With the acceleration of industrialization and the increase of energy consumption, the emission of industrial VOCs is rising, which has a serious impact on the quality of the atmospheric environment, causing photochemical smog, haze and other environmental problems. Some VOCs are toxic, carcinogenic and teratogenic, and pose a threat to human health. Long-term exposure to VOCs may lead to respiratory diseases, nervous system damage, liver and kidney damage. In order to strengthen the governance of industrial VOCs, the state and local governments have issued a series of policies, regulations and emission standards. For example, the "Air Pollution Prevention and Control Law" and "Unorganized Emission Control Standards for Volatile Organic Compounds" have strictly restricted and supervised the emission of VOCs from industrial enterprises. The introduction of these policies and regulations provides strong policy support and legal protection for the development of industrial VOCs waste gas treatment industry.
